This seems like a great goal , except schools are not preparing students to make it in college. They are getting them into college and they are then dropping out because they are not prepared for the rigor of post-secondary work. In a home school environment , it is possible to go over the same amount of content in half of the time. Students may only have to spend 3 or 4 hours in school instead of the 6 hours in a regular school.<\/p>\n
Also, many states are starting to allow students that live in the local school district to participate in after school activities like sports, intermurals, etc., even if they attend a home school.
